What's new

Every Squirrel update and what it changed.

The latest version is 0.129.1.

  1. Version 0.129.1

    Latest

Long amounts on Home's Safe to spend card no longer wrap onto two lines on narrow phones. They shrink to fit their tile.

  2. Version 0.129.0

A new piece-counted item you add with the default amount now shows as "In stock" instead of "Low stock". Unmatched items on your shopping list now share one short note with a "Match all" button, instead of repeating the same explanation under every item.

  3. Version 0.128.1

On Tasks, the Everyone / Mine switch is now a compact toggle, so "Add task" is the only highlighted button. On the budget pages, "Add income" and "Add shared expense" are quieter while you're setting up. Deleting a recipe is now done from the recipe's Edit screen instead of next to the Cook button, and Log out sits at the top of the More menu on phones, so neither is easy to hit by accident.

  4. Version 0.128.0

Keyboard users can now press Tab once on any dashboard page to jump past the sidebar to the page content, and the sign-in and sign-up pages are properly marked up for screen readers. Screen readers now announce what each inventory filter is (Category, Location, Status, Last updated, Group by), and the actions column in the table has a name. A budget with no income yet now says "Budget not set up yet" and links to adding income, instead of showing a green 0.00 as if you were on track. When you've ticked off everything on your shopping list, a "Finish trip" button now waits right at the bottom of the screen. The list's ⋯ menu is tidier too: the trip actions come first, list settings are tucked into one submenu and Delete is on its own.

  5. Version 0.127.1

Home is calmer: "Add to list" now sits on the Shopping & pantry card instead of floating over the page, and long lines no longer wrap awkwardly next to their buttons. The Home cards' headings line up again on wide screens.

  6. Version 0.127.0

The overview is now called Home. It leads with tonight's dinner and your tasks. Shopping and pantry share one card that shows what's running out, with a button to add it to your list. Your safe to spend and the household's sit side by side, and "Add to list" is one tap away. Plan your week in two steps: pick the meals you want first, then put them on days when you're ready. Picked meals count toward your shopping list straight away. "Spread over the week" can suggest a day for each one, and anything you don't get to moves on to next week. Meal planning no longer scrolls sideways on phones with large text when meals are picked for the week.

  7. Version 0.126.0

The "Get set up" steps on the overview now stack neatly when your text size is set very large, so the step names and hints are easy to read. The budget pages are simpler. Overview shows what's safe to spend, what needs attention and who owes whom. All your bills and income live in one list under Setup. Insights shows one breakdown at a time. Save a week of meals as a template, like "School-week basics", and plan any other week from it with one tap. Meals already in a slot are left alone, and you can undo. Budget charts are clearer: the monthly bars have a scale, each category's trend highlights this month, and the bars under Insights show at a glance how close you are to a limit.

  8. Version 0.125.0

You can now bring your recipes from another app. On the Recipes tab, choose "Import from a file" and pick a Paprika export or a recipe JSON file. You see the recipes found, untick any you don't want, and nothing is saved until you confirm.

  9. Version 0.124.0

Android users can now share a recipe link or a list of items to Squirrel from another app. Pick Squirrel in the share sheet and the recipe import or "Import list" opens with it filled in, ready for you to confirm.

  10. Version 0.123.0

Pin an important note, like the wifi code or an allergy, to the top of the household notes board so it doesn't get buried. Up to 5 notes can be pinned.

  11. Version 0.122.0

You can now skip a repeating task for one round ("we're away, nobody watered the plants") from the task's skip button or its edit sheet. The schedule moves on and nobody is credited for it, and Undo brings it back. Ticking items off your shopping list is now more reliable on slow connections. The bottom bar on small phones now shows short names ("Shopping", "Meals") instead of cutting them off.

  12. Version 0.121.0

Long-press the Squirrel icon on your Android home screen to jump straight to the Shopping list, Meal plan or Tasks.

  13. Version 0.120.1

Pre-cooked meals can now be planned in any meal, even next to something already planned. Several of them can be marked as eaten at once, and they show "Eaten" instead of "Cooked". On iPhone, the bar for editing several meals now stays at the bottom of the screen.

  14. Version 0.120.0

Recipes can now be imported from a photo of a cookbook page, recipe card or screenshot. Review the filled-in fields, then save. (Needs the AI service to be set up.)

  15. Version 0.119.1

Switching between pages you just visited is now instant. Your own changes still show straight away; changes made by someone else in your household can take up to 15 seconds to appear when you switch pages.

  16. Version 0.119.0

On a shared shopping list, each line now shows who added it, so you no longer have to ask "did you add the oats?".

  17. Version 0.118.0

You can now keep ticking items on your shopping list when you lose signal in the store. Your ticks wait on your phone and save themselves when you're back online, and the list you last opened still opens without a connection. The dashboard and Personal Budget load faster for people who have used the app for a long time. Your numbers are unchanged.

  18. Version 0.117.0

The front page has a fresh new look: a fridge door full of scribbled notes, and how Squirrel takes each one off your hands. If an invitation email can't be sent, the message now appears in your language.

  19. Version 0.116.3

The week and month switchers no longer overlap their date when your phone's text size is set to the largest setting.

  20. Version 0.116.2

The bottom navigation labels no longer break in the middle of a word when your phone's text size is set very large.

  21. Version 0.116.1

Adding and editing transactions, recurring items and planned bills on the budget pages now loads faster, because those forms are only fetched when you open them. Pages open a little faster: the search palette and the household and "More" menus now load only when you open them.

  22. Version 0.116.0

The inventory page loads a little faster, especially on slower phones: the scan, import and add item forms are now fetched only when you need them. Your personal budget now suggests a starter set of categories (salary, eating out, subscriptions and more). Pick the ones you want and add them in one tap.

  23. Version 0.115.2

The shopping list page loads faster on first visit; its dialogs now load only when you open them. The cookie notice's "Read more" link no longer pushes its text lines apart on phones.

  24. Version 0.115.1

The meal planner, recipes and meal prep pages load faster, because their pop-up forms are now fetched only when you open them. Error messages from household notes, push notification settings, the weekly digest switch and barcode scanning now appear in your chosen language. Pages load faster for households with a lot of history.

  25. Version 0.115.0

Icon-only buttons now show a small label when you hover over them or tab to them with the keyboard. Sign-in, sign-up, password reset, email verification and profile error messages now show in your language.

  26. Version 0.114.0

The command palette (Ctrl+K or Cmd+K) now finds things in your household too. Type a name to jump straight to an inventory item, recipe, shopping list, task or budget category.

  27. Version 0.113.6

Errors about households and invites (for example "only the owner can change the currency" or "this invite link has expired") now show in Swedish when Squirrel is set to Swedish.

  28. Version 0.113.5

The shopping list page loads faster, because its pop-up forms now load only when you first open them. Background reminders (expiring food, unlogged meals, put-away and the morning menu) now run faster and more reliably as Squirrel grows. Switching tabs in the meal planner now reacts instantly, even on a slow connection. When you remove a member or someone leaves, their unused invite links are closed, and shopping list share links and the calendar feed link are reset for safety. You can now also see and close pending invites on the Household page. Lazy-load the shopping list's dialogs (PERF-25)

  29. Version 0.113.4

The installed app now opens faster after your phone clears its cache, because it keeps its own copy of the app's code files.

  30. Version 0.113.3

Fixed: a database hiccup while saving a recipe, planning a meal, changing your password or dismissing a notification now shows a short "try again" message instead of an error page.

  31. Version 0.113.2

The app loads a little faster, because the list of past releases is no longer downloaded on every page. The meal planner now loads faster because a validation library no longer ships with the page.

  32. Version 0.113.1

Meal planning feels a little snappier: saving or undoing prep, plans and portions no longer redraws the page twice.

  33. Version 0.113.0

Turn on "Tonight's dinner" in your profile to get one morning notification listing what's planned on the menu that day. It's off by default.

  34. Version 0.112.0

Notes on recipe ingredients, like "unsalted" or "ripe", now follow along when you add missing ingredients to a shopping list. Search your transactions. Type a description, a category or an amount above the list on the Transactions tab to narrow the month, and the search stays when you reload.

  35. Version 0.111.1

Behind-the-scenes update of the libraries Squirrel is built on, including a security fix in error reporting. Nothing changes in how the app looks or works.

  36. Version 0.111.0

You can now choose which day your personal budget month starts on, for example the 25th when your pay lands, under Manage in Personal budget. It's separate from the household budget's setting.

  37. Version 0.110.0

New here? Tap "Try with sample data" on the overview to fill Squirrel with a small example home: a pantry, a shopping list, recipes, a planned week and a few tasks. "Clear sample data" removes only the examples and keeps everything you've added. Scanning a receipt line like "3 × Milk 45.00" now records the price per carton (15.00) instead of treating 45.00 as the price of one. Next time you add Milk, its estimate follows the quantity, and the review step shows "3 × 15.00" so you can catch a misread. Adding many items to your shopping list from the inventory at once is now much faster. Scanning a barcode you or someone else scanned recently is now faster. When you split a bill by hand, Squirrel now shows how much is still left to split as you type each share, or how far over the total the shares are.

  38. Version 0.109.0

You can now select several planned meals in the planner and move them to another day, change their portions or remove them all at once, with Undo.

  39. Version 0.108.0

Press Ctrl+K (or ⌘K on a Mac) anywhere in Squirrel to open a command palette. Type to jump to a page, add a task or start adding to your shopping list.

  40. Version 0.107.0

Search your meal plan: type a recipe or meal name on the Planner tab to find every day you planned it, up to a year back or ahead, and jump straight to that week.

  41. Version 0.106.0

Households can now start their budget month on payday. In Household settings, choose the day your pay lands (for example the 25th), and each budget month runs from that day to the day before, with Safe to spend, recurring bills and planned bills following it. Paying a bill early now counts it in the month it is due. A recipe now shows the next days it is on your meal plan, so you can see at a glance if you have already planned it. Tap a date to open that week.

  42. Version 0.105.0

Mark a recipe "Cook soon" to pin it to the top of your Recipes tab until you plan or cook it.

  43. Version 0.104.0

Deleting a task, shopping item, inventory item, planned meal, recipe or transaction now takes it away at once with an Undo, instead of asking you to confirm. Archiving a shopping list also offers Undo, and Archive and Delete now live together in each list's ⋯ menu. Security update: Squirrel now runs on a patched version of its web framework that closes several serious vulnerabilities. If you've been included in a shared expense before setting up your own budget, you now see your share and what you owe or are owed right on your Personal Budget and Home. The shared-expense button is now called "Add shared expense". Empty sections now look alike and show the next step right inside them: add your first task, shopping list, recipe, meal prep or item with one button. An empty week in the planner is one clear "Add your first dinner" instead of seven add cards, and Cook now points you to what to do next.

  44. Version 0.103.0

Tasks can now have a due date. Late tasks show how many days overdue they are and move to the top of your list and the overview.

  45. Version 0.102.0

If your household is the only one you have, the Household page now explains why it can't be deleted on its own, and points you to "Delete account" or, if others are in it, to the member list. The file from "Export my data" is now named squirrel-my-data.

  46. Version 0.101.0

If a receipt photo can't be read, you can now type the prices in by hand, and Register receipt lets you add receipt lines yourself. Safe to spend now sets aside what is still left of your category limits. A "Still budgeted" line in the breakdown shows how much, so the number no longer drops as you spend within a limit. The end-of-month estimate is now a muted note under the number. Budget forms no longer suggest your own name or contacts when you name a category, bill or transaction, and the keyboard's action key now shows "Next" or "Done".

  47. Version 0.100.0

Tapping the link in your verification email now signs you in right away and takes you to your dashboard, so there is no need to type your email and password again. Ticking an item on the shopping list now closes the gap in its aisle right away, so the list no longer jumps on a slow phone. Not user-facing (undoes an unreleased change). If creating an invite link fails, the invite dialog now shows a "Try again" button, and the old error no longer lingers once the link works. If a partner splits a bill with you before you've set up your personal budget, you now see your share and what you owe (or are owed) right on Home and your personal budget. The shared-expense button is now called "Add shared expense". Show a new member their shared costs before they set up a budget (UX-112) After you verify your email, the link signs you straight in and takes you to your dashboard, so you no longer have to type your email and password again.

  48. Version 0.99.1

On the Household page, an owner now finds "Make owner" and "Remove from household" in one menu on each member, and long names are no longer squeezed on small phones.

  49. Version 0.99.0

Signup and login mistakes now show right under the field they belong to. A password mismatch keeps what you typed, the password field says up front that it needs 8 characters, and "email already in use" links to Log in and Forgot password.

  50. Version 0.98.0

You can now rename a shopping list from its ⋯ menu or by tapping its title. When you start a new list you can begin from a saved template or from a recent list, with just what you still have to buy or everything. Manage items is easier to scan on your phone: search your items, see stock at a glance in compact rows, and duplicate groups now label which item to keep and which to merge. The list is sorted the same way as your inventory. When you finish a shop, "All done" now shows a one-line summary of the trip and a single "Put everything away" button. Review the details only if you want to. Finished lists offer "Back to lists" and "Start next list".

  51. Version 0.97.0

The bottom bar's five tabs now look alike, and the tab you are on keeps its colour. Each section's main page shows the same colour under its title. The month switcher on the budgets and the week switcher on the meal planner now look and work the same: arrows on either side of the period, and a "This month" / "This week" link when you're looking at another one.

  52. Version 0.96.0

The shared shopping list page now looks and works like the one in the app: it shows who shared the list, groups items by aisle in your store's order, shows how many you have ticked off, says "All done" when you finish, and shows long item names in full. Password managers now update the right saved login when you reset your password. Tapping the unit field now shows common units (pcs, g, kg, dl, l, förp) right away, even when it already says "pcs".

  53. Version 0.95.1

The signup button now stays fully visible above the cookie notice on phones.

  54. Version 0.95.0

Adding an item whose name matches one you already have (like "Banana" next to "Bananas") now tells you, and lets you add the amount to the existing item instead of creating a second one. Splitting an expense now starts with an even split, so you no longer see a mismatch error before you have typed anything. The shares follow the amount until you change one. Signup and login mistakes now show right under the field they're about, in your language, and signup keeps what you typed. The password field says up front that it needs at least 8 characters, and "email already in use" links to Log in and Forgot password. An invite link now shows who invited you, what Squirrel is, and the same sign-up form as the main page. An expired link points you to Squirrel or log in. No user-facing change.

  55. Version 0.94.0

You can rename a shopping list from its menu or the pencil next to its name. When you start a new list you can now begin from a saved template or copy a recent list, either just the items you haven't bought or all of them. A month from before your recurring items existed now says "Nothing was due this month". On Manage, the Add buttons are all in the top right of their section, and "Safe to spend" no longer lists your due items a second time. n/a

  56. Version 0.93.0

Suggestion lists, such as the unit picker, now have taller rows on phones, and the dropdown button in item pickers is bigger, so they are easier to tap. The unit field on an item's edit form now looks read-only when the item has stock, so it no longer appears editable. Task rows are now compact on phones, so more tasks fit on screen. Edit and delete are in the swipe menu and the edit sheet. A new Mine / Everyone switch on the Tasks page shows just your tasks, and remembers your choice. After signing up, the page now says "Check your inbox" and shows which address we emailed. Once your email is verified, "Log in" takes you to the login page with your email already filled in, and so does resetting your password. The "Get set up" card now keeps the steps you have finished as ticked rows under a progress bar, adds a "Plan this week's meals" step, and says "You're all set" when you reach the end. Adding a meal now says which day and meal it is for, and you can type to search your recipes. Favourites and recently cooked recipes come first, and several recipes are visible at once on a phone. n/a A repeating task's schedule now follows the day you set it up or last changed how often it repeats, so editing a weekly chore on a Thursday makes it a Thursday chore. Safe to spend now tells you roughly how much you can spend per day for the rest of the month, and the pace chart shows the amounts at Today and Month end.

  57. Version 0.92.0

New households now start with a currency: Swedish accounts get kronor, and English accounts get the currency of their region when we know it. You can change it right on the budget's first screen. New accounts no longer start with an unread dot on "What's new". Buttons that take you to another page, like "Log in" and "Get started free", are now announced as links by screen readers. Changing an item's unit is now clearer: when an item has stock, the unit is shown as read-only with a "Change unit…" link, and if a change is refused the reason appears right under the unit field.

  58. Version 0.91.0

New visitors now see the app in your device's light or dark setting. The theme and language buttons show what is currently selected, you can switch theme on the sign-in pages too, and Profile has Language and Appearance settings.

  59. Version 0.90.0

On Budget → Insights, who owes whom now comes first when someone owes money, and empty price and pantry cards fold into a single line.

  60. Version 0.89.0

Signing up now tells you what the household name is for, and points anyone joining a partner's or family member's household to the invite link they were sent. Repeating chores now reopen at midnight in your time zone, so a daily chore you tick late in the evening is back on your list the next morning. Weekly chores stay on their day even if you tick them early or late. Recipes now say "portions" everywhere (recipe list, recipe form, planner, Mark as cooked and Meal prep), and the add-meal sheet asks you to "Choose a recipe".

  61. Version 0.88.0

Finishing a shopping trip is now one step. Anything you didn't get can move straight to your next list, so it isn't forgotten, and Undo puts it back. The overview's stock, shopping and inventory cards are clearer: they only turn amber when something is actually low, tell you how many low items are already on your list, and every card takes you straight to the right place. The recipe form now follows the order you write a recipe: ingredients come before instructions, tags are easier to tap, and quantity and unit fields are properly labelled. Recipes now say "3 cloves" instead of "3 clove".

  62. Version 0.87.0

Pages you open without logging in now have proper tab titles in your language, and invite and shared-list links show the household or list name when you paste them into a chat.

  63. Version 0.86.1

Fixed the Household page jumping around slightly while it loads on phones.

  64. Version 0.86.0

Ticking off a shopping item or a task now feels more satisfying: the checkbox fills in with a quick bounce and your phone gives a tiny buzz before the item moves. With reduced motion on, there is no animation, only the buzz. Adding items with the inventory quick add is safer now: pressing Enter moves to the next field, and only Enter in the last field (category) adds the item.

  65. Version 0.85.0

Shopping list aisle names, such as "Produce" or "Cleaning supplies", now always show in your own language, in the list and in the Next up bar. Screen readers now announce the clear and show-suggestions buttons on category, location and unit fields ("Clear unit", "Show suggestions"). Fill empty days now fills every empty day when you have enough recipes: your favorites first, then your other recipes. Choosing "Take turns" on a task with someone assigned now starts the turn order with that person. A turn order with only one person can no longer be saved by mistake: you're told to add one more. If you open an email verification link too many times, the page now says "Too many attempts" and asks you to try again later, instead of wrongly saying the link has expired. Smart add no longer splits an item at a comma inside brackets, so "dishwasher tablets (lemon-free, 120 st), paper towels" adds two items instead of three. Task rows are now compact, so far more of your tasks fit on a phone screen. Delete a task from its edit sheet or by swiping. A new Everyone / Mine switch shows just the tasks assigned to you, and Squirrel remembers your choice. On tablets, the inventory now shows items as cards, so item names are readable in full instead of cut off. Compact one-line task rows and a Mine filter (UX-106) (#437) Adding a transaction no longer shows a "This repeats" box that did nothing visible. To track a bill that comes back every month, add it under Manage, Recurring items. It then shows up when it is due and counts in Safe to spend by name. An item's own page now has the same controls as the inventory list: change the amount with − and +, see whether it's in stock, running low or out, see its best-before date and whether it's opened or frozen, and edit or delete it. The shopping lists it's on now look like links.

  66. Version 0.84.0

The front page now shows Squirrel itself, with a shopping list on a phone, and covers everything the app does: tasks, recipes and cook mode, scanning, shared list links and the calendar feed. Anyone can now read what's changed in each version under "What's new" at the bottom of the front page.

  67. Version 0.83.0

You can now plan one-off income, like a bonus, a tax refund or a win, on both the household and your personal budget. It counts in Safe to spend in the month you expect it, and you mark it received with Log income.

  68. Version 0.82.0

Deleting the last item in a store section no longer leaves the section title hanging on its own while you can still Undo. Today's card in the meal planner now says "Today", and screen readers hear which day each "Add meal" button belongs to and which recipe each favorite star is for. The Tasks page now says "You're all caught up!" whenever nothing is left to do, and completed one-off tasks older than a week tuck away behind "Show N older".

  69. Version 0.81.0

Swedish release notes under What's new no longer contain English text. A page that doesn't exist now looks like the rest of Squirrel when you're logged out, with a link to the start page. Dead email links say "Link expired" or "Link not valid" instead of a generic title. Category bars on the budget no longer change colour from category to category. They are one calm colour, turn amber with "Almost at limit" when you reach 90% of a category's limit, and red when you go over. The task title now has a visible label, and a character counter appears as you near the 120-character limit.

  70. Version 0.80.0

You can now add planned bills to your personal budget. They're one-off costs with a due date that only you see, counted in your Safe to spend until you log the payment. Plan portions now starts at today, hides days that have passed, and labels meal slots that are already taken.

  71. Version 0.79.3

Ticking a task in the overview's Today card now keeps it in place, struck through, instead of making it disappear a moment later.

  72. Version 0.79.2

The inventory table on desktop now keeps every row action, including Delete, in view on a 1280 px screen.

  73. Version 0.79.1

"Create household" has moved into the household switcher menu, so the "+" at the top of every page no longer gets mistaken for adding an item.

  74. Version 0.79.0

Ingredient matches that are only a guess are no longer picked for you: they start on "Create new", and you tap "Use existing" if the suggestion is right. Unticking a task now puts back exactly what was there before. A task you ticked by mistake no longer says "Last done by" you, and a recurring task keeps its real last completion. On phones, the bar that appears when you select items in Inventory is now a compact toolbar above the bottom menu instead of a large box over the list. The inventory now shows how many items are out, low, expiring or expired at the top. Tap a count to see just those items. The Status filter also has Expiring soon and Expired.

  75. Version 0.78.0

Tap a quantity in Inventory to say how much you used or bought. Grams, millilitres, kilos and litres now step by sensible amounts, so taking 200 g of butter is two taps.

  76. Version 0.77.0

List budget categories near or over their limit on Overview (UX-108) The overview now starts with a Today block: your tasks and the household's unassigned ones (tick them right there), tonight's dinner, how much the household can safely spend, and what is about to expire. Long release notes on the What's new page now wrap instead of making the page scroll sideways on phones.

  77. Version 0.76.0

Cook mode now asks before you leave with a timer running or steps ticked, has a big "Next step" button that follows you down the recipe, lets you tick off ingredients, and ends with "Done — mark as cooked". The bulk-edit bar in Inventory now stays at the bottom of the screen on phones however far down you tick an item, and has a Select all button. Tapping a task's name now opens it for editing instead of marking it done. Tick the circle, or swipe right, to complete a task. The add bar on the shopping list is now solid, so items scrolling underneath no longer show through the text field.

  78. Version 0.75.0

Pop-up messages on phones now appear at the top of the screen, so they no longer cover buttons like "Complete list" or the shopping list's "Next up" items. Adding a transaction is faster: it opens on the amount, shows your categories as tappable chips with expenses first and your recent ones on top, picks the category you used last (or the one you're filtering by), and confirms with "Added … · Undo".

  79. Version 0.74.1

On phones, the cookie notice is now a slim strip at the bottom of the screen, and the page makes room for it so it no longer covers buttons or content.

  80. Version 0.74.0

Open a recipe and add it to your meal plan straight away. The recipe's instructions are now shown there too, under the ingredients. Each budget now says what it is for: the household budget is shared money for your home, and your personal budget is only yours. Phones show this under the page title. You can now add an item to your shopping list from Inventory without marking it empty, one at a time or for several selected items. Items already on a list are tagged "On list".

  81. Version 0.73.1

Joining a household from an invite link now confirms that you've joined, instead of wrongly saying the invite is invalid.

  82. Version 0.73.0

The "Low stock at" field is now "Running low below" and starts at 2 for items counted in pieces, so you get a low-stock warning before an item runs out. Items in grams or millilitres start empty. Ticking a task now shows "Done" with an Undo button, the list no longer jumps when you tick your first task of the week, and finishing your last open task gets a friendly "You're all caught up!" from the squirrel. The planner now has an "Add N missing to shopping list" button under your week. After adding, the confirmation tells you how many items went on the list and lets you open it. Fixed a rare glitch where a confirmation (for example "Remove meal?") could close by itself right after you opened it from a sheet. Shopping lists are more compact on phones: each item takes one line, so you see more of your list while you shop. Add a price from the ⋯ menu on a row.

  83. Version 0.72.0

Pressing Enter after typing an ingredient name in a recipe now moves on to the quantity instead of saving the recipe too early. Tapping the "Use ..." suggestion now accepts what you typed. The shopping list now shows how many of the items left to buy have a price, and when you finish a trip where only some bought items are priced, it asks what amount to log to your budget (or lets you skip it). An empty budget no longer says you're "in good shape". It now asks you to add your income and regular bills, and the totals explain what +, – and → mean. Long household names no longer push the switcher's buttons off the screen; they are shortened, and the full name shows in the menu. If you sign up or join a household while Squirrel is in Swedish, your account now stays in Swedish, including your first login and the emails we send you. Items you add without an amount now show just their name, instead of "× 1 pcs". Your profile is now organized into Account, Preferences, Notifications and Data & privacy, with Log out at the bottom. On larger screens the sections sit side by side.

  84. Version 0.71.1

The overview now greets you by first name and by the time of day where you are, so it says "Good afternoon, Åsa" at 12:30 in Stockholm. Ticking items from the "Next up" bar on the shopping list no longer ticks two when you double tap: the ticked item shows a check for a moment before the next one moves up.

  85. Version 0.71.0

On phones, list rows are tidier: Edit and Delete live in each row's ⋯ menu and in the swipe-left tray instead of showing twice, and the list no longer scrolls while you swipe a row. Inventory items no longer add one on a right swipe; use the + button. You can now duplicate a recipe to make a variant without retyping it. The copy opens for editing, and you can undo. Ticking an item on the shopping list no longer makes screen readers announce it twice while the row slides into "In the cart". Household owners can now rename their household from the Household page. The shopping list's "Next up" panel no longer jumps when a new item is added to a long aisle. On phones, lists and cards now use more of the screen width, so names have more room before they're cut off. The unit field in an item's "Try it" converter now has a name for screen readers.

  86. Version 0.70.0

Cook mode can now time your steps: when a step says how long to cook, tap "Start timer" and a countdown runs on screen, with an alert when it is done. An inventory item's page now shows its recent prices: date, store and price per purchase, with the price per unit. Empty pages now greet you with the Squirrel mascot, and when you tick off the last thing on your shopping list, the squirrel pops into the finished ring.

  87. Version 0.69.0

Copy your shopping list as text from the list menu to send it to someone who isn't in Squirrel.

  88. Version 0.68.0

Meal planning is easier on your phone: tap a meal or a recipe to see everything you can do with it, days only list what's planned, the week stays in view as you scroll, and adding a meal starts with your recipes, favorites first. The budget is much easier to use on a phone. Transactions are compact rows grouped by day: tap one to edit it, or swipe to delete with undo. You can filter by category or tap a category in Insights to see its transactions. Overview shows each number once, and changing month keeps you on the tab you were on.

  89. Version 0.67.0

You can now add one-off bills you know are coming, like a car repair or a dentist invoice, with a due date and each person's share. They count toward what's safe to spend until you log the payment, and show as overdue if the date passes.

  90. Version 0.66.0

Updated the app's underlying framework to a version with important security fixes. Each recipe now shows how many times you have cooked it and when you last did, so you can spot dinners that have dropped out of rotation.

  91. Version 0.65.0

On phones, the inventory list is more compact, so you see about twice as many items without scrolling. When an item was last updated now shows on its details page. On phones, page titles now start large and tuck into the top bar as you scroll (tap it to jump back up), and each page's main button, like Add item or Add task, floats at the bottom where your thumb is. Shopping mode got bigger rows, a progress ring and a "Next up" panel at the bottom, so you can tick off a whole shop one-handed. Budget charts now show their values when you tap them, categories get a small spending trend, and Safe to spend shows where the month is heading. Squirrel now moves: ticked and removed items slide out of the way the moment you tap, even on a slow connection, new items glide in, pages fade in when you switch tabs, and a list's name flies into its page when you open it. With "reduce motion" on, everything changes at once. The meal planner no longer jumps when the page finishes loading. The weekly variety and nutrition summaries now sit at the top of the Planner tab.

  92. Version 0.64.0

Your personal budget's "Fixed income & costs" now includes your share of shared household bills like rent, in the totals, the breakdown and the monthly trend. Meal prep: record dishes you've batch-cooked, see how many portions are left, and plan those portions onto days in the meal planner. Leftovers from a cooked meal now go to Meal prep too. On your phone, swipe a shopping item, task or pantry item to the right to tick it off, complete it or add one more. Swipe left to edit or delete it, and a quick Undo brings back anything you delete by mistake. Sheets on your phone now feel native: drag one down to close it, long forms can rest at half height, and the page behind shrinks back while a sheet is open.

  93. Version 0.63.1

Buttons no longer change size when they show "Saving…", and detail pages for shopping lists and inventory items now show a placeholder while they load.

  94. Version 0.63.0

Planning a week is quicker: "Fill empty days" in the planner menu suggests a dinner from your favorite recipes for each empty day. Swap any suggestion, then add them all in one tap, and undo if you change your mind.

  95. Version 0.62.0

Pages in the app now show a placeholder of their layout the instant you open them, instead of staying blank or showing the previous page.

  96. Version 0.61.0

After you mark a meal as cooked with leftovers, you can tap "Plan leftovers" to put them on the next day without a dinner planned.

  97. Version 0.60.0

You can now freeze an item that's about to expire. Its date moves out about 90 days, it's tagged Frozen, and you can undo it.

  98. Version 0.59.4

Buttons and links on phones and tablets are now easier to tap and no longer crowd each other, including meal rows, category chips, the password show/hide button and the footer links.

  99. Version 0.59.3

Pages are now more reliable: if the database connection drops for a moment, Squirrel quietly retries instead of showing an error page.

  100. Version 0.59.2

Squirrel now stays usable when your phone's text size is set to the largest setting: buttons wrap and pages no longer scroll sideways.

  101. Version 0.59.1

Error messages and a few labels (for example "Close" on pop-ups) now appear in Swedish for Swedish users instead of English.

  102. Version 0.59.0

You can now copy a recipe as plain text, with its ingredients and steps, to send to a friend or paste into a note.

  103. Version 0.58.2

Screen readers now announce unread notifications, long names wrap on phones instead of being cut off, and deleting a household no longer trips over autocorrect.

  104. Version 0.58.1

The budget tabs now scroll sideways on small phones, "Add transaction" only appears once you have a category, and the monthly chart shows its amounts.

  105. Version 0.58.0

On a phone, the inventory page now has a clear "Add item" button and one "More inventory actions" menu, and each item keeps Edit with its other actions in a ⋯ menu so quantities stay readable.

  106. Version 0.57.2

Fixed a gap below the bottom bar on phones so it now sits flush with the bottom of the screen.

  107. Version 0.57.1

Save buttons in pop-up sheets now stay visible while you fill in long forms, and sheets no longer hide behind the phone keyboard.

  108. Version 0.57.0

Squirrel now feels at home on your phone: iPhone and iPad users get the right install and notification steps, the browser chrome matches the app theme, and older browsers get a friendly nudge to update.

  109. Version 0.56.1

Light theme is easier on the eyes: buttons, tabs, fields and numbers now have proper contrast, and the sticky bars on phones blend into the background.

  110. Version 0.56.0

The mobile bottom bar now highlights "More" when you're on What's new or Notifications, its labels are easier to read, and the collapsed sidebar shows a tooltip naming each icon.

  111. Version 0.55.1

Link pages (invites, shared lists, password reset, email verification, unsubscribe) now look the same, and an expired password reset link tells you right away instead of after you type a new password. The cookie list on the privacy page is readable on phones.

  112. Version 0.55.0

The shopping list page is tidier: voice and barcode buttons sit inside the add field, item buttons always appear in the same order, and "Match item" is easier to see. The receipt button is now called "Register receipt" everywhere, and closing a scanned receipt or shelf scan asks before throwing it away.

  113. Version 0.54.0

Each page now has one clearly highlighted main button. Save buttons on your profile light up once you change something, and you can now rename a task when editing it.

  114. Version 0.53.1

Buttons, checkboxes and fields are now comfortably large to tap on tablets and on phones held sideways, and text fields no longer make iPhones zoom in.

  115. Version 0.53.0

Units now appear in your language: Swedish users see "st", "msk" and "burk" instead of "pcs", "tbsp" and "can".

  116. Version 0.52.0

The meal planner now opens on today, keeps its controls in one tidy row, and shows a single "Add meal" for each empty day, asking which meal when you tap it.

  117. Version 0.51.3

Fields like Unit, Category and Location in forms now show their whole value on phones instead of being cut off.

  118. Version 0.51.2

The back button or back swipe now closes an open form or dialog instead of leaving the page. "Merge into another item" also shows Cancel and Merge from the start and closes with Escape.

  119. Version 0.51.1

Checked boxes now show their fill and tick again, and date fields no longer make forms scroll sideways on iPhone.

  120. Version 0.51.0

Ticking items on a shopping list, tasks and stock +/− now respond instantly, even on a weak signal in the shop. If a change can't be saved, it's undone and you're told why.

  121. Version 0.50.6

Forms no longer wipe what you typed when something goes wrong: a failed sign-up, login or save keeps your entries so you only fix what was wrong.

  122. Version 0.50.5

Squirrel now fits tablets and phones held sideways: no more sideways scrolling, every menu section is reachable, and the inventory list uses the whole screen.

  123. Version 0.50.4

The overview now opens on today: the "Get set up" card only lists the steps you haven't done yet, and you can hide it.

  124. Version 0.50.3

Months, week ranges, default list names, amounts and percentages are now written in your language, for example "oktober 2026" and "12,50 kr" in Swedish.

  125. Version 0.50.2

Pop-up messages on your phone no longer cover the bottom navigation, and the Undo button is easier to tap. If copying a link fails you now see an error instead of "copied", and phones get a Share button for links.

  126. Version 0.50.1

Form fields on phones are now large enough that iOS no longer zooms in when you tap them.

  127. Version 0.50.0

If your browser is set to Swedish, Squirrel now opens in Swedish on the landing, login and invite pages, and there is a language switch at the bottom of every page you see before logging in.

  128. Version 0.49.0

Recipes with instructions now have a Cook button that opens a full-screen view with big, tappable steps and your ingredients. The screen stays on while you cook.

  129. Version 0.48.6

The Budget page loads faster for households with a long history. Price trends and cheapest-store comparisons now look at the last 12 months.

  130. Version 0.48.5

Behind-the-scenes errors in scheduled jobs (notification sync, weekly digest emails) are now reported to us, so they get fixed faster.

  131. Version 0.48.4

The dashboard, meal planner and personal budget pages load a little faster.

  132. Version 0.48.2

Buttons, checkboxes and fields are now bigger on phones, so they are easier to tap.

  133. Version 0.48.1

Number fields now open the number pad on your phone, and the Enter key on forms shows "Done" or "Go".

  134. Version 0.48.0

Empty meal slots in the weekly planner are now a single "Add meal" row, so an empty week is much shorter on your phone.

  135. Version 0.47.8

The "Add task" button on the Tasks page now shows its name on phones instead of just a "+".

  136. Version 0.47.6

Pages load a bit faster, especially on slow connections, because error-reporting code is no longer downloaded unless it is switched on.

  137. Version 0.47.4

Password reset and email verification links are now stored more securely, and a link can only ever be used once, even if it's opened twice at the same moment. Reset or verification links requested before this update no longer work; request a new one if needed.

  138. Version 0.47.3

Logging a recurring bill or income now stays fast, however long it has been running.

  139. Version 0.47.2

Registering a receipt with many new items is faster.

  140. Version 0.47.1

Notifications settings no longer say "Subscribed" on a device that stopped receiving notifications after a password change. It now shows the Enable button so you can turn them back on.

  141. Version 0.47.0

You can now choose which budget category your shopping trips are logged to, from the Household page. Renaming the category no longer starts a new "Groceries" one.

  142. Version 0.46.14

Scanning your shelves to restock now saves much faster, even with a large batch. If several items run out at once you get a single notification instead of one per item.

  143. Version 0.46.13

The dashboard now loads a little faster because less unused text is sent to your browser with each page.

  144. Version 0.46.12

Checking off shopping items feels snappier, and push notifications for out-of-stock items and finished lists are more reliably delivered.

  145. Version 0.46.11

Long choices in dropdowns now end in "…" instead of being cut off in the middle of a word.

  146. Version 0.46.10

The Unit field in the quick-add row on an empty inventory now shows the whole unit (like "pcs") instead of a single letter.

  147. Version 0.46.9

The empty Notifications page now explains what shows up there: an item running out of stock or about to expire.

  148. Version 0.46.8

    The recipes page loads faster.

  149. Version 0.46.7

"Export my data" on your Profile now includes your settings, the notes you've written, your tasks, and your share of split bills and repayments.

  150. Version 0.46.6

Shared shopping-list links are now protected against abuse: a single link can only be used a limited number of times per hour, far more than any real shopping trip needs.

  151. Version 0.46.5

Scanning a receipt or a shelf with AI no longer keeps the full AI reply in the server logs when something goes wrong. Only a short excerpt is kept, so card and loyalty numbers from the bottom of a receipt stay out of the logs.

  152. Version 0.46.4

Bulk actions like registering a receipt, updating many pantry items at once, or adding a recipe's missing ingredients to a shopping list now have sensible size limits, closing a few edge cases that could otherwise slow the app down.

  153. Version 0.46.3

Recurring income, like your salary, now counts in the budget for months where it hasn't been logged yet, so future months show what you expect to earn alongside your expected bills and savings.

  154. Version 0.46.2

Shared household bills that repeat every month now also show on your personal budget for months where they haven't been paid yet.

  155. Version 0.46.1

Text, badges and form fields are easier to read in both light and dark mode, and pop-up messages are now colored: green when something worked, red when it failed and amber for warnings.

  156. Version 0.46.0

A name you've matched once, like "eggs" for your pantry's "Egg", now links on its own everywhere: pasted shopping lists, templates, receipts and "Resolve mappings". Linking a shopping-list item teaches the name too. Recipes also have a new "Review ingredient matches" button to check or change which pantry item each ingredient uses.

  157. Version 0.45.2

The back arrow on an item's page now takes you back to where you came from, such as the "Unit problems" list or your recipes, instead of always to the inventory.

  158. Version 0.45.1

Signing out, resetting your password, or changing it now also stops that device (or every device, for a reset/change) from receiving push notifications for an account you're no longer using.

  159. Version 0.45.0

Squirrel can now find pantry items you've added twice, like "Egg" and "eggs". Open "Manage items" on the inventory page to merge them into one. You see exactly what moves before you confirm. You can also filter for items that were never stocked or have units that don't convert.

  160. Version 0.44.0

Every pantry item now has its own page. It shows which recipes use the item, converts each recipe's amount into the item's unit, and lets you add unit conversions, change the item's unit without messing up its stock, and remove names it learned by mistake.

  161. Version 0.43.0

When a recipe measures something differently from how your pantry counts it (grams of flour against bags), you can now tell Squirrel once how they relate. Shopping lists, "Mark as cooked" and cost estimates then convert it for you.

  162. Version 0.42.1

Long forms such as recipes and receipts now scroll properly on iPhone.

  163. Version 0.42.0

Recipes can now mark ingredients like water as "Don't track", so cooking and shopping skip them. When you link an ingredient to a pantry item once (say "eggs" to Egg), Squirrel remembers it for your next recipe. Imported prep notes such as "finely chopped" are kept and shown next to the ingredient.

  164. Version 0.41.0

Imported recipes now read amounts like ½, 1,5 and 2–3, and units written together with the number (500g). Preparation notes like "finely chopped" move out of the ingredient name, and "Salt and pepper" becomes two ingredients.

  165. Version 0.40.0

Adding a recipe no longer fills your pantry with duplicate items. When an ingredient doesn't clearly match something you already have, you choose whether to link it to an existing item or create a new one.

  166. Version 0.39.9

Recipe import from a link is safer and now allows up to 20 imports per hour for each household.

  167. Version 0.39.8

Pages that load a lot of data at once, like Budget, respond more smoothly under load.

  168. Version 0.39.7

Security hardening for push notifications. Each account now keeps up to 10 devices, and the oldest is dropped when you add another.

  169. Version 0.39.6

Meal planning and the Cook tab load faster, especially if you have many recipes.

  170. Version 0.39.5

The shopping list loads faster, especially on mobile data.

  171. Version 0.39.4

Closed a gap that let automated sign-in attempts skip the limit on password guesses.

  172. Version 0.39.3

Too many wrong current-password attempts when changing your email or password, or deleting your account, now pause further attempts for 15 minutes.

  173. Version 0.39.2

Security hardening for the scheduled background jobs. Nothing changes for you.

  174. Version 0.39.1

The privacy page now lists every preference Squirrel stores in your browser.

  175. Version 0.39.0

You can now check items off in the store and put them away when you're home. In household settings, set "Update inventory" to "When the shopping is put away": checked items then show as on the way until you tap "Put away" to confirm what you bought and correct amounts and best-before dates. New households get this by default.

  176. Version 0.38.1

Shopping lists open noticeably faster, especially for households with a long shopping history.

  177. Version 0.38.0

Repeating tasks can now take turns: pick who's in the rotation, and each time the task is done it passes to the next person. Unticking it by mistake hands the turn back.

  178. Version 0.37.0

You can now tag recipes as vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, dairy-free, nut-free, low-carb or quick, and filter your recipe list by tag. Recipes imported from a link pick up their diet tags automatically when the site lists them.

  179. Version 0.36.0

You can now move a planned meal to another day or meal, build a shopping list from several weeks of meal plans at once, and import recipes from many more websites. Cost analyzer also shows roughly what everything you have at home is worth, and what your whole shopping list would cost at each store.

  180. Version 0.35.1

Item names on the shopping list are readable again on phones. The price and edit buttons now sit on their own line below the name.

  181. Version 0.35.0

You can now save any shopping list as a named template, like "BBQ" or "Big weekly shop", from the list's ⋯ menu. Start a fresh list from it any time on the shopping list page.

  182. Version 0.34.0

Shopping lists now suggest things you usually buy about now, like "Coffee · usually every 12 days". Tap a suggestion to add it, or dismiss it until next time.

  183. Version 0.33.0

Household owners can now pick a currency on the Household page, and amounts in the budget, shopping lists and recipe costs show its symbol. It only changes the label, so no amounts are converted.

  184. Version 0.32.0

Shopping mode now learns the order you walk your store in from the order you check things off, and sorts sections to match. You can also set the order yourself with "Reorder sections" in the list's ⋯ menu.

  185. Version 0.31.0

Savings categories can now have a goal amount and an optional target date. The budget overview shows your progress and roughly how much to put aside each month to get there.

  186. Version 0.30.0

You can now get a weekly email summary of your household: meals on the menu, tasks done, food about to expire and how the budget is doing. Turn it on under Profile. It's off by default, and every email has a one-click unsubscribe link.

  187. Version 0.29.0

If you're settling up with your household, you can now pay with Swish straight from "Who owes whom". The amount is filled in for you. To get paid this way, add your Swish number on your Profile.

  188. Version 0.28.0

You can now see your meal plan and monthly bill due dates in Google Calendar, Apple Calendar or Outlook. The household owner can turn on a private calendar link on the Household page and replace it at any time.

  189. Version 0.27.0

Squirrel now tells you when you've paid noticeably more than usual for something. If a receipt or a checked-off price is well above what that item normally costs, you'll get a notification that links to your price trends.

  190. Version 0.26.0

A shared notes board on the Household page, quiet hours to keep a phone silent overnight, and leftovers you log when you mark a meal cooked (they show up in your inventory before they go off). Budget categories with a limit can now roll unspent money over to next month, and you can mark items as opened to bring their expiry date forward.

  191. Version 0.25.0

When you add missing ingredients from your meal plan, Squirrel now suggests a common substitute for many staples, like milk with lemon juice when you're out of buttermilk.

  192. Version 0.24.0

Scanning a receipt is quicker: lines that clearly match are accepted automatically and grouped under "N items matched", so you only review the ones that are unclear. You can still open the group and change anything before applying.

  193. Version 0.23.0

The Cost analyzer now has a "Went past its date" card. It shows the food that expired this month before you used it up, and roughly what it cost.

  194. Version 0.22.0

Planning a new week? On an empty week, tap "Copy last week" to bring over last week's meals in one go. Undo is right there if you change your mind.

  195. Version 0.21.0

Tap the new microphone button on a shopping list and say what you need, like "two liters of milk and eggs". It's only shown in browsers that support speech recognition.

  196. Version 0.20.0

You can now add a note to any item on a shopping list, like "get the ripe ones" or "any brand is fine". Open the item's edit dialog to add one. The note shows under the item name, including on shared lists.

  197. Version 0.19.0

You can now give an expense category a monthly spending limit. The month's summary shows how much of each limit you've used and turns red when you go over.

  198. Version 0.18.0

You can now star your favorite recipes. When several recipes are just as easy to cook right now, or use up the same things, your favorites are listed first.

  199. Version 0.17.0

Recipes now show a rough cost to make them, in total and per serving, based on what you last paid for each ingredient. If some ingredients don't have a price yet, the recipe says how many were left out.

  200. Version 0.16.0

You can now print a shopping list. Choose "Print" in the list's ⋯ menu to get a clean, large-text copy of what's left to buy, grouped by category.

  201. Version 0.15.0

Scanned and registered receipts can now record which store you bought something at, in an optional "Store" field. Once an item has prices from two or more stores, the Cost analyzer will show you which one was cheapest last time.

  202. Version 0.14.0

Meal planning now shows a weekly nutrition summary: the totals for the recipes you've planned that have nutrition info filled in. It's only a summary, not a goal to hit, and you can dismiss it any time.

  203. Version 0.13.1

Budget, Personal Budget and Meal Planning now load a bit faster: the page appears right away and its data fills in as it arrives.

  204. Version 0.13.0

Shared bills can now be paid partly by several people, and you can clear what you owe each other. Your budget's "remaining after expenses and savings" now counts shared bills, debts and upcoming payments and savings, and matches between the dashboard and your budget.

  205. Version 0.12.1

Behind-the-scenes safety fix: testing new versions of Squirrel can no longer touch your data.

  206. Version 0.12.0

Squirrel now keeps a "Next shop" list for you. When something runs low, it's added automatically, and you can undo that straight from the notice. You can turn this off on the Household page.

  207. Version 0.11.0

Barcodes are now remembered. Tap "Scan" on the inventory page and scan items as you put them away or use them up, and the count updates right away with an Undo. A new barcode can be added as a new item or linked to one you already have. You can also scan a barcode on a shopping list to add the item.

  208. Version 0.10.0

Inventory items with a known shelf life (like dairy, bakery, meat, and produce) now get an estimated expiry date automatically when they're checked off a shopping list, added from a receipt, or added in bulk. It's shown with a "≈" so you know it's a guess. You can turn this off per item with a new "doesn't expire" option on the item form.

  209. Version 0.9.0

The shopping list header is tidier: the less-used actions now live under a "⋯" menu. When you've checked off everything, tap "Done shopping" to finish the list in one go. If you tapped by mistake, you can undo it from the message that pops up.

  210. Version 0.8.1

Changing or resetting your password now signs you out on all your other devices, so anyone who had access to your account loses it.

  211. Version 0.8.0

You can now fix an item's category right from the shopping list: tap the small category label on a row and pick another one, or create a new one. Squirrel remembers the choice the next time you add that item.

  212. Version 0.7.4

If you're removed from your only household, Squirrel no longer gets stuck reloading. You'll now see a page where you can create a new household or join one with an invite link.

  213. Version 0.7.3

Opening another household's budget from your personal budget now keeps you on that household when you change months. It's shown read-only, with a button to switch to it, so new entries can't end up in the wrong household.

  214. Version 0.7.2

Reminders about food that's about to expire and meals you forgot to mark as cooked are now checked once a day in the background, instead of every time you open the notification bell. That means a new reminder can take up to 24 hours to show up. Out-of-stock and "shopping list done" notifications aren't affected and still appear right away.

  215. Version 0.7.1

"Use it up" suggestions no longer miss an expiring item when an empty item with the same name exists.

  216. Version 0.7.0

New items you add can now be sorted into a category by AI, where it's available, when nothing else recognizes them.

  217. Version 0.6.0

The Recipes tab now nudges you to use ingredients before they expire or run low: a "Use it up" suggestion, which you can dismiss, shows which of your recipes would help.

  218. Version 0.5.0

Shopping list items now show an estimated price, and your list's total updates automatically as you shop.

  219. Version 0.4.4

Ingredients added to your inventory from a recipe are now categorized automatically, just like items added any other way.

  220. Version 0.4.3

The budget and the list of food about to expire load faster.

  221. Version 0.4.2

The budget page now loads faster, especially for households with a long transaction history.

  222. Version 0.4.1

Cooking a meal with recipes that include sub-recipes is now faster.

  223. Version 0.4.0

Your shopping list now groups items by aisle (produce, dairy, meat and so on), so you're not zig-zagging the store. Rows are easier to tap while you shop, and your phone's screen stays on while the list is open.

  224. Version 0.3.5

Small visual and reliability improvements to the personal budget page.

  225. Version 0.3.4

Added a limit on how many invite emails can be sent per hour, to prevent misuse.

  226. Version 0.3.3

Applying a scanned receipt, or matching several shopping-list items to your inventory at once, is now faster.

  227. Version 0.3.2

Saving a recipe with several ingredients or sub-recipes is now faster.

  228. Version 0.3.1

Adding missing ingredients from your meal plan to a shopping list is now faster for weeks with many ingredients.

  229. Version 0.3.0

Add items to a shopping list by typing them in the box at the top, for example "2 l milk, bread, 6 eggs", and pressing Enter. Suggestions show up as you type, with things you're running low on first.

  230. Version 0.2.0

New items now sort themselves into a sensible category (like Dairy or Produce) when you don't pick one. If you change an item's category, Squirrel remembers it the next time you add that item.

  231. Version 0.1.0

Squirrel now has version numbers. Every update ships with a short note here, so you can see what changed.
